SEEKING THE MAGIC SILVER BULLET

Before the Lone Ranger’s “magic silver bullets” there was the constitution. Do you recall Dr. Franklin’s statement upon exiting the Constitutional Convention, “we have given you a Republic, if you can keep it.” What was and has been the one tried, true and proven basis for maintaining the Republic?

The Republic has deteriorated to the point that many are seeking that magic bullet. Is there such a magic bullet available? We will be testing three potential magic bullets under the microscope of the constitution as per the following format.

Each of the 3 candidates for “magic bullet” will consist of a panel dialogue. Each presentation will consist of a panel of 2 to 3 members, who will present the topic, Richard Fry and Jeff Lewis will dissect the material under the constitutional microscope. Each discussion will be divided into 3 equal segments. The panel will have 1/3rd of the time, Richard and Jeff 1/3rd, followed by audience participation of equal time.
